The happiest day is when I went to a brilliant school. The name is Cross Over School. It's the best school in the world. The teachers are the most amazing and are friendly. My friends are so cool and we call ourselves the Maths Kings.
We play soccer on the nice, big, beautiful field. It is so green. The school sings to the King of Kings. He adores His children.
We have up to 16 kids in a class, not like other schools.
More children must come to Cross Over School, the best school in the universe. You will be amazed. Cross Over is not a school, it's a big family. We love to learn at Cross Over. Thank you teachers for giving us a bright life.

This morning as I was dropping off my son at school, I was reminded how much I thank God and how grateful I am for the amazing work you do at Cross Over School.
I watch every day how warm and respectful Uncle Keith is as he greets every parent and the kids. He does his work with a smile and is very consistent. I have no doubts that my son appreciates that warm greeting every morning.
Where do I even begin with the ever so loving Teacher Gill. Words are not enough to express our gratitude towards her. Our journey began last year August (Term 3) when our son joined Grade R. Teacher Gill has played a pivotal role in my son's life. She is patient, loving, believes in his ability. (I smiled this morning when she was embracing 3 kids that were trying to hug her at the same time 😊) She is supportive and cares for each and every child. She gracefully instils discipline while ensuring the kids feel loved....SUCH A BLESSING to be collaborating with an amazing teacher.
We keep getting amazed at how he has progressed. He is so confident and wants to read at everything he comes across. He enjoys doing homework, preparing for Fridays spelling tests and other assessments.
May God continue blessing Teacher Gill and the school, may He meet the school needs according to His riches in glory. I look forward to hearing more positive stories and for us as parents to keep working together with the school to ensure our kid's flourish.

Cross Over School is just warm. The kids can feel the warmth as well as the parents. I never expected the school to accept my son with all his struggles but he loves it there and he is improving.
I am so sure that huge change is coming because of the environment.

When we arrived at Cross Over for our first meeting we were hesitant and nervous. We were used to principals, Heads of Departments and teachers assuring us that our boy is in safe hands and that they can accommodate him with his ADHD.
My son spoke for himself for the first time during our first meeting and he said “I did not fit into his previous school’s box and I couldn’t let my light shine. I need a school where I can let my light shine”.
All our questions where answered with honesty and we where delighted to hear that a learner specific approach will be followed if his application is successful. As most parents we spend thousands on private school fees due to the smaller classes, uniforms, therapy and assessments. Our boy wasn’t happy and I vividly remember crying after I dropped him off at his previous school seeing him wandering around alone with no friends.
When I fetched my son after his day visit at Cross Over I cried tears of joy when our boy told us “Mommy my light is finally breaking through the box, I love this school”. He is an extremely resilient boy as most ADHD little geniuses, but he was very anxious and afraid of being rejected. Teacher Gill showered him with love and patience and he slowly but surely started to trust her and started to believe in himself for the first time in a school environment.
My son who hated writing and refused to even try wrote his very own sentence within two weeks in Cross Over : “I see a heart when I look at my mom”. His eyes lights up when he successfully completes a homework task on his own. We love the fact that we get frequent feedback and that we know exactly what is expected of him every day.
He gets to write tests every week and we can start preparing for the exams with clear guidelines. Hearing that your child has Dyslexia, ADHD and OCD is no longer devastating news, an early diagnosis with the correct medication and individual attention from the whole team at Cross Over is a blessing.
I can honestly say that the curriculum is exactly the same if not better than his previous school - the only difference is our boy has the confidence to do his work and doesn’t fight about homework or when he makes a mistake, he keeps on trying and takes pride in his work.
God guided us to Cross Over and we listened. May God Bless, protect and guide the super Cross Over team for many, many more years as so many unique children of God needs them desperately every day. 🙏🏼🫶
